{"id":667,"date":"2015-04-28T15:54:29","date_gmt":"2015-04-28T19:54:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/verista.org\/?page_id=667"},"modified":"2025-09-23T16:55:18","modified_gmt":"2025-09-23T20:55:18","slug":"verista-perspectives-on-truth-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/verista.org\/","title":{"rendered":"Truth from MANY perspectives"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Verista\u2019s mission is to support the education and development of\u00a0 freedom of expression.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our activities are to provide training, materials, facilities, and financial and technical support, with special emphasis on giving voice to the voiceless, on three-dimensional media, and on collaborative and therapeutic efforts across media.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Our vision has always been to amplify a multitude of voices so that deeper truths emerge.\u00a0 The earliest example of this was the exhibit <a href=\"https:\/\/verista.org\/index.php\/the-exhibit\/\">&#8220;Beyond the Mountains: The Interior Life of Afghanistan.&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Verista&#8217;s recent projects are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/verista.org\/index.php\/charles-holden-studio-project\/\">development of a center for kilnformed glass<\/a> to carry on the legacy of Charles Holden, in Decatur, GA. The studio provided space for workshops, collaboration and individual projects.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/verista.org\/index.php\/afghan-freedom-of-expression\/\">Support for Afghan journalists and educators<\/a>, whether inside or outside the country, in their work to factually report events and educate citizens in Afghanistan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Verista\u2019s mission is to support the education and development of\u00a0 freedom of expression.
