The studio provides space for workshops, collaboration and individual projects.<\/p>\n<p>2019-: Research and support of visual artists working with post-consumer materials.<\/p>\n<p>2016-17: Fiscal sponsorship of Media Foundation 360, a nonprofit in Pakistan that supports in-depth reports and multiple perspectives on government accountability, environmental and human rights issues. This supported publication of <a href=\"http:\/\/verista.org\/index.php\/pakistan-shift\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pakistan Shift<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/verista.org\/index.php\/truth-tracker-magazine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Truth Tracker Magazine<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/verista.org\/index.php\/news-lens-pakistan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">News Lens Pakistan.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>2012-2015: Fiscal Sponsorship\u00a0for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.herbalista.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Herb Bus &#8211; Herbalista Free Clinic<\/a>, treating underserved populations\u00a0in Atlanta with herbal medicines and offering education via its mobile classroom.<\/p>\n<p>2010-2012: Production of &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/verista.org\/index.php\/the-exhibit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Beyond the Mountains: The Interior Life of Afghanistan<\/a>&#8221; educational multimedia exhibit featuring landscapes and portraits of Afghans.<\/p>\n<p>2007-2013: Fundraising for an <a href=\"http:\/\/verista.org\/index.php\/handicraft-sales\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Afghan girls&#8217; school<\/a> and library through the sale of Afghan-made textiles and soaps.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2021-: Support for Afghan journalists, whether inside or outside the country, in their dangerous work to factually cover the unfolding events in Afghanistan. 2019-: Development of a center for glass artists in Decatur, GA at the former studio of Charlie Holden.
