2021-: Support for Afghan journalists, whether inside or outside the country, in their dangerous work to factually cover the unfolding events in Afghanistan.

2019-: Development of a center for glass artists in Decatur, GA at the former studio of Charlie Holden. The studio provides space for workshops, collaboration and individual projects.

2019-: Research and support of visual artists working with post-consumer materials.

2016-17: Fiscal sponsorship of Media Foundation 360, a nonprofit in Pakistan that supports in-depth reports and multiple perspectives on government accountability, environmental and human rights issues. This supported publication of Pakistan ShiftTruth Tracker Magazine, and News Lens Pakistan.

2012-2015: Fiscal Sponsorship for the Herb Bus – Herbalista Free Clinic, treating underserved populations in Atlanta with herbal medicines and offering education via its mobile classroom.

2010-2012: Production of “Beyond the Mountains: The Interior Life of Afghanistan” educational multimedia exhibit featuring landscapes and portraits of Afghans.

2007-2013: Fundraising for an Afghan girls’ school and library through the sale of Afghan-made textiles and soaps.
